I have headed 4 SBUs, including HTA Direct(JWT - Thompson Connect), Lintas Direct and until some time ago, the Mumbai operations of a leading Training Orgainsation with over 40 Trainers reporting in to me. Clients whom I have worked with / helped during my 15-odd years in the Relationship Marketing industry - Mercedes Benz, British Airways, Welcomgroup, Taj Group of Hotels, AT&T, Johnson & Johnson, Kodak, Hindustan Lever, ANZ Grindlays Bank, Citibank, Air India (helped in the creation, launch and management of their Frequent Flyer Programme - Flying Returns), DHL, Sharekhan.com etc. Training Related - I am a Management/Behavioural Trainer and have designed/conducted Training progarmmes on Leadership, Team Building, Conflict Management, Presentation Skills, Feedback, Coaching & Mentoring etc. for people in senior management positions in various corporates. Having spent a lifetime in the Service Industry and being a specialist in Relationship Marketing, I also excel in Training Programmes related to Service Excellence and Telemarketing. I have conducted a very successful training programme for Non MBA entrepreneurs - called MBA CONCEPTS. In this short 12-session programme, I covered the most relevant and important concepts and customised these to apply to the industries that the partcipants came from. A few Ryzers have partcipated in this programme and found it extremely useful. If I get the time, I will conduct another batch some day. I have designed Training Programmes for Deutsche Bank, Yes Bank etc. and conducted a massive Process Remapping and Audit exercise for a Telecom Service provider. Have also trained Customer Service Representatives of Dell, America Online, Prudential UK, Lloyds Bank, Shaadi.com etc. and have extensively trained people in the Telecom sector. Here's something I had written for my niece - her school had asked her to write a poem on a difficult topic "Lies". here's what I wrote... THE LITTLE WHITE LIE In the midst of my exams When I was trying my best to study I got a call from none other than My favourite childhood buddy She asked me this, She asked me that She asked me how I was There was no way I could shut her up Or even get her to pause Time just flew, I had much to do So I blamed the telephone line “Much as I would like to talk to you” I said – “I cant hear you fine” I shouted into the mouthpiece then Yelled – “can you hear me dear” “Ouch” she said, “what was that You nearly hurt my ear!!!” “The line” I said, “the telephone line There seems to be some trouble Sometimes I can’t hear you at all And sometimes I hear double” “Fine” she said, “in that case I will call you some other day” I felt bad, for I had lied to her But that was the only way!!!
