Some agencies and company marketing departments employ some of the most creative minds on the planet. Much of the work generated is memorable and talked about long after a campaign. But there is an area I see many companies falling short -- or staff members don't understand how to use it to their advantage.

Of course, I'm talking about social media. I can really help energize marketing departments in this area, especially based on the reactions I've been getting at my other marketing workshops.

If a company is still pushing print to 20 year olds and not tapping into the new world of social marketing because a) it’s too time-consuming, and b) there’s no value in it for them, we need to talk.

Digest this for a moment:

*Radio took 38 years to reach 50 million users
*Television took 13 years to reach 50 million users
*The Internet took four years to reach 50 million users
*The iPod took three years to reach 50 million users
*Facebook added 200 million users in less than a year
*iPod application downloads hit one billion in less than nine months

Social Media is serious business.

These firms only need to bring me in for one 90-minute session, and I guarantee that I will make this new world relevant to their business and their clients.

I can show them how to stay relevant with their target audience in today's marketplace, low cost to no cost options, how to plug into the new wave of social networking and use it to their advantage.

Reach me through Facebook, @bookpublish101, LinkedIn (Freelance Communications).
