Hm... man, I can think of so much to write here that I don't know where to start! :) My peculiar interests and weird tastes can be viewed in their full glory on my home page, under "The Kitchen Sink." In short, they include: *A fanatical adoration of Peter Lorre (I've seen most of the Mr. Moto films, not to mention obscure classics like "The Boogie Man Will Get You") *A zealous reverence of Erich von Stroheim (Ieven wrote a term paper on him which got my Film prof to quit calling him things like "ding-dong" and "nutcase") *A disquieting fondness of Edward Gorey (No, really. He was brilliant. Weird, but brilliant.) *An unnerving attraction to Steve Buscemi (He's only funny-looking when directors make him so.) *An encyclopedic fascination with Hobbits (not quite on display yet as I haven't had time to build the huge site I'm planning) *An insane penchant for weird, red Halloween costumes (I am the proud owner of a complete set of imitation Cardinal's robes. Why? Because NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition!) I've completed two National Novel Writing Month attempts (50,000 words in 30 days!) although neither was particularly good. I joined Ryze because a pal of mine - Lauren - thought I might like it. :) I'm terminally shy until I get settled in, so please sign my guestbook and I'll try to get up the nerve to sign yours. :) Currently, I'm working as a tutor and freelance web designer, but I dream of making a living writing - as a tech writer, or a publicist, or (best of all) a film reviewer.
