I run my coaching business from my home while looking out at the trees and wildlife. My husband and I have lived here since 2003 when we moved from the San Francisco Bay Area. My business, Healthier Outcomes, is a coaching business specializing in Intuitive Eating (overcoming emotional overeating) and Fitness Coaching and coaching entrepreneurs to grow their businesses, not their waistlines . I especially enjoy coaching female entrepreneurs in these areas. I believe that to have a healthy business, you really need to take care of your physical and mental health. Intuitive Eating I have recently given my business a "makeover", putting more emphasis on the Intuitive Eating coaching. I have found that emotional eating is something that almost all of my clients do at some time or another, and I wanted to help women overcome this and the destructive diet/binge/diet cycle. I can coach on this from my own personal experience, being a binge eater for years. A few years ago I finally proclaimed I had been on my last diet and found the Intuitive Eating approach. Eat when you are hungry, stop when you are satisfied. It sounds simple, but most people do not do this for a variety of reasons. When you return to eating intuitively, your body will return to its natural body weight and food and dieting are no longer the time-consuming, energy drainers they used to be. This is the only way I found to lose weight and keep it off and restore a normal relationship with food. Imagine: Ending the destructive diet deprivation backlash cycle of dieting/binging/weight gain Eating the foods you love and still losing weight Having a steady flow of energy all day, every day No longer counting calories, carbs or fat grams and no more weighing or measuring food Freeing yourself from obsession with food and making peace with your body No longer experiencing guilt because of what you eat or how you look Intuitive Eating is the missing link between losing weight and keeping it off for good. Emotional overeating is the number one cause of obesity, yet diet plans fail to address this fact. Diets have a 95% failure rate, and for good reason. Diets only address the symptoms of overeating (weight gain, for example), not the causes. With a diet, you let the diet tell you when and what to eat and you rely on willpower to get you through it. In almost all cases, willpower can�t last too long, deprivation kicks in which leads to overeating and weight gain.
