My Ryze page is not an entirely business oriented one. However, one benefit of senior level experience and years in the game is ability to choose work that is personally satisfying. So, my personal and professional interests are not so far apart. If you feel we may have synergies on a business or professional level, you may be right. Perhaps we already share membership on LinkedIn, Ecademy, Xing, Ning, Viadeo, etc. Let's explore mutual interests and link up! As of March 2008, I do not anticipate being able to actually spend much time within the Ryze space.

After declining the offer of another term in the Hong Kong Directorate, I decided to step back and consider what I would really like to do. Ryze has been part of the exploration, along with extensive travel to meet thought leaders world-wide in the domains of organizational development, intellectual capital, information security, records and knowledge management. In 2006, with former client Robert Tornack, I registered a niche consultancy in Hong Kong: Information Resource Management Strategies, better known as IRM Strategies. It takes me into spaces I find intriguing: the creation of knowledge, the preservation of authenticity and accountability in decision making, quality improvement and the measurement of intangibles that affect business/societal value.

IRM Strategies also provides a vehicle for pursuing a range of activities that expand me in positive ways. For example, when the Hong Kong Polytechnical University ISE Department asked me to provide voice over to a promotional video, it sparked an interest in voice work generally--something dormant since my improv days at university. A long time love of fine art work has been inspired by ArtJamming and I hope to get back into music and the arts to balance my left brain work.

As a complement to IRM Strategies' consulting, facilitating and educational services, I am introducing a remarkable service for multinationals in the region. It delivers brief, relevant, top notch content focused to build capacity in managers and key potentials, particularly in areas that are performance objectives for the year.
