An accomplished executive and financial strategist wielding more than two decades of experience, Inder Singh holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Engineering from Columbia University, as well as a Master of Business Administration in Finance from New York University. Inder Singh entered the workforce while completing his graduate education, serving as a Senior Financial Analyst with American Express Company. He was subsequently promoted to Manager of Business Planning. In his roles with American Express Company, Inder Singh supervised the reserve adequacy of an $8 billion asset portfolio and guided initiatives including acquisitions, divestiture analyses, and financial risk models. After two years with the firm, Inder Singh joined AT&T/Lucent Technologies, ultimately serving a nine-year term in positions of Manager of Network Systems Group; Director of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis; Vice President of Corporate Finance; Vice President of Corporate Strategic Partnerships; and Vice President of Business Development. Inder Singh led numerous projects, among them the architecture of the corporate capital and investment program, the smooth merger of Lucent and Alcatel, facilitation of growth abroad, and new product design. Inder Singh subsequently joined Prudential Securities as Senior Vice President of Communication and Data Networking and Head of Technology Research Group. In these positions, he conducted valuable research concerning 24 coverage ventures, composed 3 consolidation theses, and led individual educative sessions on networking technologies for a number of buy-side analysts. During his tenure with the firm, Inder Singh received a host of accolades, among them the Best Up-and-Comer title from Institutional Investor and three Top Fundamental Analyst awards from Prudential Securities. Next, Inder Singh became part of the administration of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc., serving as Senior Vice President of Data Networking and Wireline Equipment. His efforts in this role included the successful and timely launch of coverage of more than 12 stocks, which garnered him a position among the top five Wall Street executives in a 2008 Institutional Investor survey. Today, Inder Singh acts as Vice President of Corporate Portfolio Management and Long Range Planning with Cisco Systems, Inc. Since joining the firm in 2008 as Vice President of Strategic Planning, Cisco’s Inder Singh has crafted and executed a new portfolio discipline methodology and supervised the Cisco Development Organization’s evaluation of more than $5 billion in research and development.
