Hey Gorgeous! Yes, YOU!

Are you fed up of seeing images of "perfect" airbrushed models?

So am I! Would you like to know why? It's because they don't exist! Top paid models have cellulite and get spots, even on their bums. Nobody's perfect, but there's so much you can do to make yourself look and feel your very best.

First of all, it's called Me Time. I know what you're thinking..."I'm too busy and don't have time to relax or do simple things for myself." But it's exactly people like you that need it the most and the benefits that proper relaxation and looking after your body can bring.

What qualifies me to do this?

With 12 years experience as a qualified Aromatherapist and holding a Diploma in Sports Therapies, I understand the importance of relaxation and the damaging effects stress can have on your physical body and mental health and that the best way to prevent illness is to strengthen the body's self-defense mechanisms.

I then went on to study and develop a range of completely natural skincare and body care products that are so damn good, even I'm using them! The results? Judge for yourself.

On top of all that, I uprooted myself and my business from Australia to the UK, became a brand new Mother to my partner's four wonderful children, moved house, still trying to get my business established here in the UK, and get some kind of a social life happening (but I'm failing in the social arena), and all this in the last five months. As you can imagine, it got quite overwhelming, so I know, only too well the importance of taking time out. You absolutely have to or you'll go nuts!

CREATE YOUR OWN FLOTATION TANK

It's time to stop grappling with the pressures you feel that surround you and take a complete break. Relaxing is one of the most effective ways to counteract stress and gives your mind and body the opportunity to unwind and recharge. You'll feel refreshed and you'll be ready to tackle your loads in a more positive way. One of the most beneficial treatments you can give yourself is a deliciously long soak in the bath.

Flotation Therapy was invented in the 1950's. The concept is similar to the mineral salt baths they have at the Dead Sea in Israel. Magnesium sulfate (Epsom salt) is a mild muscle relaxant, which contributes to the deep relaxation experienced while floating. When you float, your brain responds to this deep relaxation by releasing endorphins, which help to relieve pain, improve mood and boost the immune system.

Now you can enjoy all the benefits of a Flotation Tank right in your own home for a fraction of the cost.

Ingredients:
  • A large bath
  • A small portable heater
  • 60 minutes of uninterrupted Me-Time
  • An eye mask to blot out light
  • Ear plugs or soothing music
  • 3kg (6.61) pounds of Epsom Salts

Ideally, your bathroom should be at the preferred temperature of 27-28º C (81-82º F) whilst floating. Once the bathroom is warm enough, run a warm bath, adding the Epsom salts to the water. The salts will increase the buoyancy of the water and prevent your skin from wrinkling, leaving it soft and silky.

Remember to take the phone off the hook, the persistant ringing will only jangle your nerves.

If you're not going to listen to music, now is the time to put in those earplugs, as you want to remove all sensory input and have your entire focus on the sensation of floating. Step into the bath, put on your eyemask and lie back and allow yourself to relax.

Focus on relaxing your mind and body and you'll soon sense a feeling of weightlessness envelop you. Stay in the bath for about 40 minutes and then shower. Allow yourself time to have a relaxing green tea afterwards.

You'll feel physically and mentally restored after your soak and ready to tackle your day with renewed vigour.
