BACKGROUND I am originally from Sikkim, India. Sikkim is located in the north east part of India. Nestled in the great Himalayas, it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the North East and home to several mountain ranges including the third highest peak in the world, Kanchendzonga. However, Sikkim is not only known for her mountains, Sikkim is an ecological “hot spot” within the Asia Pacific region. Despite her small size, Sikkim consists of a large variety of flora and fauna and has been selected by UNESCO as UNESCO regional ecotourism programme’s project sites in India. I have been in the US for the past 17yrs - studying and working. I completed my Masters in Business Administration, from Pace University, New York, 2002. I financed my Masters with a student loan which I was finally able to pay off completely in February of 2008. I relocated to india in April 2009.
