In bheege hue lamhon me
In bheege hue lamhon me
jab aankhon me teri
yadon ka diya jalta hai. .
door in raston pe koi hanthon me mashal liye chalta hai.
Har simt teri tasveer nazar aati hai . . .
har pal saans v tera naam liye chalta hai.
virah mein jalti in nayanon mein
dekh pranay ki chanchalta
chand bhi katra katra pighalta hai. .
khamoshi mein lipat kar door kahin chandni mein
ek sapnon ka chota sa gaon jalta hai..
boond boond aankhon mein moti palte hai .
maut jaise chup hai har koi shaher mein.. 'raj'
ek ajnabi subah- o -shaam tera naam liye phirta hai .
In Bheege hue lamhon me..
teri yaadon ka diya har pal jalta hai..
Raj

In the Far Silence of the Night ~
In these tear-drenched
eyelashes
lit with the fire of memory of you,
somewhere in the distance I walk with a live torch.
Every second invaded by your image--
every breath sounding your name.
Look, even in our separation
are sparkles of life in my eyes.
And the luminous orb melts drop by drop
wrapped in the silence of your distant light.
So I dream, I envision a home in a little town;
And my eyes fill, nay, burst with drops of light.
But, like death, "Raj", so far, is silent, lost
like a stranger among men, just
intoning your name from dawn to dusk.
And in these my tear-drenched eyes
are but the lights of your reflections.

"Dastak"
Ek
ghar,ek hi darwaja ,chaukhat ek..
Jo chahe aa jaye langh kar..
Kabhi zindagi deti dastak hans kar..
Kabhi maut aa baithti chaukhat par..
Yehin rehti hai khusian saari
Tanhai bhi kahin koney mein rehti hai thithur kar..
Gam ka sirahana pyar ki paas-balish..
Khamoshi ki chadar odhe din jata hai gujar..
Shaam bhi aati hai kuch pal ke liye ..
Raat le jaati khwaab chura kar..
Ek ghar chaukhat
ek ek hi darwaja..
Har pal deta hai koi dastak
Mere ghar aakar ..thuck ..thuck ..
Aaha Lo !!
Phir subah aa
gayee mere ghar !!

An abode, a door...a threshold
Step across all who may so desire
Here life has announced its smiling presence
Death too has seated himself at the door!
Herein resides all happiness
Loneliness too resides cowering at a corner
A pillow of sorrow...a balustrade of love
Wrapped in the sheets of silence the days pass by
Evening too stops by for a few moments
And night steals away dreams in its transit
An abode, a door...a threshold
And each moment heralds someone's visit
Sounding their knock at my door
Lo behold but who should announces ones presence
Dawn again has crossed my threshold!

What I Think
and agree
about
Life
|
" Enjoy Life !! This
is not a dress rehearsal"
"
I can choose either to be a victim of the world or an adventurer in search of
treasure.
It's all a question of how I
view my life ."
There are only two ways to live your life.
One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything
is a miracle.

What I do
for
My
Daily Bread
&
Butter |
I bake my own bread and churn
milk to make my butter too:))
You got it right :) The CEO of a company has to go through all .
Gupta Brothers, The Abarkhabo Shoppe That's the name of my
company.
http://www.guptabros.com
The vegetarian restaurant is called "Jharokha" where the Maharja's
Dine
By profession I am a Confectioner and Restaurateur .
Well if you wanna desi version of it :
" I am a Halwai and also the chief Bawarchi of my Restaurant
."
Have always treated Food as the Biggest and the most popular and
powerful art . An art which conquers not only the heart and
soul but stays there for lifetime in our body , on the tip of our
tongue. And some time you may get addicted to this art :)
Like I remember My elder brother telling me about the taste
of the Coconut laddoo's my grandma use to make and I remember
the taste of Gulabjamuns my mother use to make when I was 5 .
I also remember the Parathas she used to make and the way
she use to pack it into my small Tiffin box .
The aroma of the Plain Masoor ki Dal still haunts me and takes me back
to Manali and than to the hotel where we use to had our dinner
during our Honeymoon Days. Just that aroma of Dal recreates the
whole mood and picture of Manali .
For me food is an "EDIBLE ART "
And here is the beginning of all my connection to
arts.

Photography
&
Photoshop |
This passion for Photography was always burning inside me but I must agree
it was dying slowly, just because I was working hard and had no time to
pursue my hobbies .Then came the era of
Digital Photography and my passion turned wild . I
bought my first digital camera Sony Mavica FD 90 in 1999.It proved to be a
blessing . I started clicking everything starting from food people
friends and the Camera became the part of my Life, Then came the new model
from Sony F707 ....and now I know No Limits.
Photoshop :Its my digital canvas am addicted to it. It has given a new
dimension to my creativity. No more searching for canvas and paints
now.
My Favorite photographers: Raghu Rai . Ansel Adams.

Quotes & Lines |
”At a certain point in our lives, we lose control of what's happening to us, &
our lives become controlled by fate. That’s the world's greatest lie ~ Paulo
Coelho”
"Your children are
not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you, and though they are with you yet they do
not belong to you. You may give them your love but not their thoughts, for they
have their own thoughts. You may house their bodies but not their souls, for
their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in
your dreams. You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backwards nor tarries with yesterday. You are the bows from
which your children as living arrows are sent forth. The archer sees the mark
upon the path of the infinite, and he bends you with his might that His arrows
may go swift and far. Let your bending in the Archer's hand be for gladness; For
even as He loves the arrow that flies, so He also loves the bow that is stable."

My Favorite
Books |
The Prophet : Gitanjali : Kamayani :Fountainhead :
The Alchemist: Few words about The
Alchemist:
I read "The Alchemist" two years back for the first time when my friend
AVI presented it on my B"DAy, it was the time when my stars were soaring
high and I was passionately in love with my dreams, Success was the only
word i would know at that time...the universe was conspiring ...helping me
in all ways of my life .Business, Theatre, Poetry. Friends... (Even till
date) AND THE ALCHEMIST BECAME MY BEST FRIEND. It just confirmed every
thing I was going thru at that point of the time...THE miracle, The
language of universe, what it said about the oasis...The truth and the
reality revealed at the Tea shop, The idea of selling tea in crystal
glasses and buying thicker books which will last longer and one can use it
as pillow too...

Curry |
Curry is Good for You
! Spices that are positively
healthy
Ginger –indispensable in Indian
cooking,
Ginger is used in just about
everything.
Feeling a bit bunged up? Ginger helps to
soothe coughs and colds and clears your head.
Feeling a bit bubonic? Ginger has
antiseptic properties that have been used to treat all sorts of ailments,
including the plague!
