I have over twenty-six years of travel industry experience, and over thirty-five years of marketing and sales experience. For AmazingSpas.com, I have combined my extensive knowledge of the health and wellness industry with my passions of travel, and mind, body, spirit. I have an undergraduate degree in Physical Education, and have read extensively on all aspects of the health and fitness arena for most of my life. I helped manage a popular Miami spa of the late 70's-80s. I have been in love with, and visiting spas, since my first visit in 1979!

I worked at sea for four years, helping to develop Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's first aerobic program and ShipShape (RCCLs onboard fitness program). I was the lines first female shore excursion manager, becoming an expert on the Caribbean Islands.  I was selling and leading cruise tours all throughout the Caribbean. I then went on to sell cruises for another three years, at a cruise-only agency.

Sending people to large cities, hotels and group destinations has been my mission. While on this endeavor, visiting client's spas and hotels, I decided I'd like to help as many people as I can, find relaxation. I have constantly looked for quiet destinations to get away from it all and felt that others must be looking to do the same thing...relax, decompress and getaway from it all. I figured that I must not be the only one looking for these things, so henceforth, AmazingSpas.com was born.

I was hit with the travel bug at a very early age, starting to learn Spanish in third grade. With the Spanish as a start, I have learned to speak a bit of Norwegian, Italian and French. I always try to learn a bit of the language wherever I have traveled, to enjoy the locals and learn more about the places I have visited. I've traveled extensively throughout North America, the Caribbean, and Europe.

On top of including the leading spas in the country, Amazing Spas will continue to grow its list of spas and unique getaways, while also uncovering unique vacations, couples spa vacations, health spas, spa resorts and fantastic destinations to visit in between spa visits.
