A Little Claim to Fame

Even though I have not seen the finished product, I've seen that it did very well, partially thanks to the talents of those who worked behind the scenes. I was a transcriptionist for many hours of audio and B-roll on this film so I feel like I was part of the action! A Little About Me

To start, I'll include my map of the States I've visited...most trips were made in the past 11 years since I've been married to my husband, Jeff (11 years on 2/22/08!). I was surprised to see how many places I've been. I know it's not much compared to many others, but for me, it's some traveling! Of course, I must remember to add our neighbor, Canada, to the list as well. create your own personalized map of the USA

Along with traveling, I enjoy cooking and baking, rubber stamping, craft projects, home decoration, photography, and spending time with my pets. I am also very happy to say that I have some of the greatest friends on earth! They have proven to be very true and have stuck by me through thick and thin. I've known some of them for decades and they still come around—amazing people! :)

If I Were a Simpson...

Daisy is my little Maltese dog and she's about 7 years old. She had been in about 6 different homes and kennels before we rescued her. We think she may have been a puppy mill dog, since she displays typical behaviors that those animals that have been rescued from puppy mills also display. She has been by my side for over 5 years now and is a truly loyal companion to me.

Beaker is my 18-year-old grey cockatiel—the most beautiful bird I've ever seen. He has been my little pal for such a long time and has moved around with me everywhere I've been. Boyd is my 12-year-old cockatiel. He's learned all of his songs and whistles from Beaker, and he's a very sweet bird. I love how they each have their own little personalities!

We also adopted Cuddles in November last year. She is a tiny, 5-pound chihuahua/dachsund mix. Her original parents were elderly folks—the wife died of cancer last year and the husband just died this year. We took Cuddles in because the husband had to be taken to the VA home since he was too sick to be home alone. She is a sweet and playful little dog and even though it took a while to break her of some bad habits, she's doing very well with us now. Daisy tolerates her and might someday call her a friend!
