Welcome to my world of books! I’ve been reading since I was three. Still have a book with me wherever I go. And if I have a moment, that means I have a minute to read! I worked for 32 years at “real” jobs, and got my BS in BA at age 40, was certified in five fields, did the President of associations thing, and got the Distinguished Budget Award and Certification of Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Governmental Finance Officer’s Association, but one day I woke up. And realized it wasn’t fun anymore. I understand the politics so much I knew how it was going to turn out before we went through the process. There was no one left to impress. The only respect I got was from my peers. And I just plain didn’t want to do that anymore… So I ran after my dream. I was always afraid of running out of things to read. No more! I have thousands of books for sale. I buy many to sell and read them first. And some never make it to the sale shelves. But I’m immersed in books – and I love it! My shop is in my family room. It looks like a library. And I’m very, very comfortable sitting here and working on my computer. Being almost submerged in books is a good thing! And I’ll never quit reading!
