About me: Who am I? When asked this question in Class X by a Nun (Sacred Heart School, Chandigarh) who was taking a moral science class (!!!), I muttered something about being a soul…! She was astounded so were my classmates, but in truth, spirituality had begun to appeal to me way back then… Since then, life has moved on….time and tide wait for none! Spirituality took a backseat from age 12 to 18ish, but began to make sense again towards the end of my teens. Am now dedicated to learning, energy conservation and channelizing energy to world transformation…. I value: honesty, courage, loyalty, the power of imagination I appreciate: witty humour, honesty, knowing people, creativity, friends/acquaintances who keep in touch!! I dislike: bores (!!), repetition (repetition is boring), “uninterested people” (who are too full of themselves), the gossipy types, back stabbers and the like I am passionate about: learning, writing, my calling (spirituality) My strengths: discipline, hard-working, honest My best friend: God My grouse: Not enough time, time flies! Now abit about my first book, ALIGNING THE ECONOMIC CYCLE WITH THE TIME CYCLE Have you ever wondered whether the changing economic and social scenario is linked to a greater time cycle? Aligning the Economic Cycle with the Time Cycle weaves a pattern in the changing face of our socio-economic lives vis-à-vis time. Time, like the boom and fall of economies, also follows a cyclic model. Social perceptions of time form the basis for economic action. Aligning the Economic Cycle with the Time Cycle emphasizes that we cannot understand our true self until we master the flow of time and familiarize ourselves with the intricate nature of time. It presents a time study lucidly and puts forward searching questions that need to be addressed before we formulate an opinion about the origin of our world and our current position in the time cycle. There is more to time than we generally perceive; Aligning the Economic Cycle with the Time Cycle fits many jigsaw pieces in the right place to understand the time puzzle more fully. While a rational approach to science and theology answers many questions, the average reader often does not get so much material in one compilation to formulate a concurrent opinion. And now abit about my second book, SEXUAL DUALISM TO SPIRITUAL ONENESS (just released in New Delhi) In essence, Sexual Dualism to Spiritual Oneness is about celibacy. It is a collection of inspiring sayings and teachings, stressing on their underlying esoteric interpretation, from the Bible (Book Of Genesis), Taoism, the study of some erotic Hindu temple sculptures, Kundalini energy, Kriyashakti energy and the five elements of nature. Drawing on the sources cites above, Sexual Dualism to Spiritual Oneness also covers the subject of duality in human nature and suggests that incorporating masculine and feminine traits is the way to achieve supernatural powers of reproduction, the physical manifestation of awakened Kundalini energy after the sex force has been sublimated. Sexual Dualism to Spiritual Oneness, per se, refers to the unity of the masculine and feminine aspects of human nature and the need to focus within, on the source of life, the eternal force that is neither masculine nor feminine. As such, celibacy is nothing but a practice aimed at achieving complete balance in human character. As diverse sources from different religions have been studied in this manuscript, unity also metaphorically relates to unity or likeness, of purpose and aim, put forward by all religions.
