The World Works a Little Better When We Do What We Love

Craig Nathanson
The Vocational Coach

About me
Craig Nathanson has been very successful in corporate America for over 25 years doing all the right things and following all the right steps. Yet, he was empty inside, good at things he didn’t care deeply about. After several layoffs and a brief but thought provoking bit of introspect, he decided to finally follow his perfect vocational day of teaching, coaching mid-life adults and writing combined with daily running and quality time with family. As a result life has changed. The change is much more; however, than increased family time and more possibilities to do what he wants to do each day. It is deeper. He has a renewed sense of the world around him and in his local community. People seem more interesting, there is so much to learn, and the air is fresher to breathe.

Craig is an internationally known author, workshop leader, speaker, college lecturer and coach for mid-life adults. He offers private coaching, retreats and workshops worldwide.

Craig is the author of the book, P is for Perfect: Your Perfect Vocational Day, published by Book Coach Press. Craig has also produced the popular audio CD's, How to discover and live your passion now; How to make money and meaning in mid-life teleclass CD and the first of the new Vocational Coach booklet series, ''Now that I'm in college, what do I do with my life, 116 secrets for living a passionate life. Craig Nathanson also produces monthly teleclasses where you can listen and learn live each month how to discover and do what you love.

He is also the publisher of Craig Nathanson’s Mid-life Vocational Passion E-Zine. This is a free monthly internet based newsletter which is published internationally helping to provide inspiration and coaching to many who are seeking to do more of what they love in mid-life while at the same time generating an income.

Craig is on the faculty at Cal State Hayward, Keller School of Management, Corinthian Colleges and San Joaquin Valley College teaching both traditional and on-line courses.

Craig writes monthly career related columns for Careernews.com, Boomersint.org. as well as his own syndicated column.

Craig has been an executive, senior manager, trainer, counselor and internal consultant for 25 years working in large Fortune 100 companies as well as several internet start-ups, one of which he was an original founder.

Craig is a Ph.D. candidate at the Fielding Institute in Human Development where his dissertation is focused on ‘’The experience of Vocational Passion in Mid-life’’ expected to complete in 2005 and has been researching mid-life transition for the past nine years.

Craig is also working on his second book due out in late 2005 called, ‘’Mid-life Passion’’, ‘’How to discover and FINALLY do what you love’’.
