Science Education Online Resources TEKS Standards Indexed Curriculum Center Classroom and Life Skills Integration Teacher/Student Extended Service Support Plans Student Activity Portals Parent In-school Networks As a Texas science teacher with web design experience, I am bringing to this site the best of my online knowledge for helping science teachers and students use the internet to enhance their science education. In the courses link above, I am structuring self-directed online learning units under TEKS standards indexed listings for courses I currently teach at a private school. The students are tested by TEKS units and progress is recorded on science units forms in which the full TEKS index number is repeated for every unit description on the form. I can provide a customized service for any school or teacher to add these TEKS forms and units for any course. This would involve research of the links on the website, update or creation of new courses or special school websites. Even if you are not in Texas, you can use these TEKS units for instruction. If the need was great, with help I could add other science standards to this process. My website provides help in developing life skills applications that science education provides. Science activities provide special opportunities for the development of life and work skills, for example, working in teams, running experiments, the scientific method and maintaining science journals, logs and notebooks.
