Born and bred in India, I moved to the Middle East (Dubai) about 6 years ago with the idea of amassing a bank-full of money. But my hopes were 'sheikhan' (or is that shaken) and after a year of the 'good life', moved to the UK. I must say the stay in UK has been a wonderful experience - bridging the cultural divide, settling into a different culture and getting acceptance and I am now a curious East-meets-West blend. That in short is a summary of my life minus the nasty (and good) bits in between.

Growing up, I saw some of my friends settle into good careers in software and the rest built a track record in hardware. As I was good for nothing, I have ended up in the netherworld called nowhere aka Sales & Marketing. I have had good days and bad and I am plodding along. These days my definition of good and bad has changed. Going by the Ecademy board and the redundancy notices I read in the IT sector, even just checking the payroll list every morning and finding your name still on it would classify as a good day. But going by my working experiences, the work culture and work-related stress, I would feel that being made redundant should classify for a good day (assuming you have just won money at the races), the debate goes on ....

I have had some good successes in the UK selling offshore development services into large UK companies and in most years achieved targets. And I continue to do more of the same.... I really wish I could do something more exciting, a franchise maybe... When you start reading about me in the FastCompany Top 50, tell them you first read about me at the Ecademy!!!

My interests include reading, working out at the gym, Buddhism, India, Far East, philosophy (with such a tedious set of interests, no wonder women stay miles away from me), entrepreneurism

I will keep updating this with my favorite links, fave writers, inspirational sayings,etc.... But never my photgraph... that might scare some youngsters away and Ryze might have to put a warning requiring kids to log-in to Ryze only under Parental guidance... Au revoir for now...
