A little about me

My name is Harry Rorarius and I live in Toledo Ohio, home of the Jeep and The Mud Hens. Computers have been a part of my life since I have been a kid. Like many people I played my share of games, wrote papers for school, and surfed the web. When friends and family were having computer problem, they would call me to get it working right again. In 1994 I started doing free lance computer work and in 1999 I opened HR Consulting and would fix hardware and operating system problem for home and business customers. At this time half my business was website construction and I found it to be a creative outlet so it was always a part of the services I offered.

A little about my history

Well I started working with computers when I was 11 back in 1981 working Apple’s and also worked with Atari home computer copying game programs from magazines. Then went to IBM pc and used MSDOS. I went through all the versions of windows creating website using html with some cgi-perl. I started to work with MySQL and learned the basics of database creation and navigation. Worked with PHP to try some web based database interaction.

When ASP.NET started to get popular in 2001, I started to learn the new VB.Net which was different from Visual Basics that I familiar with from before. The first project I started with was the I SPY store front project and working with this project I saw the potential for a complete store front and business management program that could be used across the world. Then spent the better part of the next 5 years creating the EpicNet project in my spare time.
