What I like !
* Morning time, gulps of fresh air and seeing the Sun rise ! ( once I
have gotten up early , that is :-)
* Music - live performances firstly else CDs and MP3s would also do !
* Books- all kinds, pity I don't get to read as much as I used to or would
like to...
* Friends- one really can never have enough of them, me thinks !

Who am I ?
* Personal : Male,b. 1960, married ( sometimes not so
happily, mostly so :-)) , son Abhay is in 10th now...
* Qualifications : Electrical Engineer ( Delhi College of
Engineering, 1981 ), MBA - Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University
(Sales & Marketing, 1983 ).Schooling in Central Schools mostly. Father
retired Captain from Army, mother as teacher.
( Those were the days friends ! Hope to put some photos on the WWW some
day on same. Meanwhile would love to hear from all alumni ! ) |

What have I "done" so far ?
Started career with an FMCG company - one of the largest in its field
now ( just to talk about the difference I made in just 4 odd months :-)).
Got a Job Opp. I never initiated in the Middle East and ended up spending
10 odd years in UAE, while traveling to most of Middle East. Worked mainly
in HVAC, Industrial Filtration and Commercial Kitchen/Laundry equipment -
although sold chicken also a few times ! Back in India in 1994. Worked
with v. large Office Automation Company and then with an Industrial
Products exporter. On my own since 2002, .
I am basically a "Salesman" . Love the profession. Still get Goosebumps
even after 25 years in the biz when I see some of the best performing -
and have seen many , including my ex-bosses ( hey Rajeev and
Mr.Naresh Verma and Gurdev and Mr. Karan Anand and Mr. Amitabh if you are
reading this, thanx a TON for all you taught me- still trying to catch up
! ) |

What am I "doing " now !
Since 2002 in the Placement /Headhunting/Manpower/Executive Search
Business.. whichever way you wish to call it. Loving being my own
boss..wife tells me I just love pretending to be working ! More details at

" MMM Incorporated". WHAT does "MMM" stand for ? Since many people have
asked me for this I spent some time to come up with the meaning I can make
public here .. Voila ! ..: Helping (Wo)Men Make More Money
". OK, OK, I know that makes FOUR M's but I was always bad at
counting :-) BTW, I would ALSO appreciate all help for same :-)) On a
slightly more serious note - isn't it strange how we seek "a meaning " in
most things ? |

What has life taught me/is teaching me !!
OK this section is going to be a continuously changing /evolving one !
Some initial thoughts :
- People are basically good.
- Help will come to you sometimes from the most unexpected quarters.
- Life is something that happens to you while you are busy planning other
things.
- " Put your Money where your mouth is " works !
- DOCUMENT all agreements . ( Lesson REALLY well learnt !! )
- Keep your own conscience clean .. let the others' look after
theirs .
- The ONLY person you can change / control is yourself .
- Love is generally an "oversell " ! Sometimes it works .
- Sometimes , all you have to do is ASK !!
- Two Sikh "Shabads" I am trying ( sometimes it IS hard !! ) to incorporate in my life (
translations are mine and not literal... ) :
* Deh Siba Var Mohe Sukh Karman Se Kabhu Na Daroon :My God, give me
the Boon never to shy away from doing what is good and right ... ...
* Ghar Sukh Vasiya, Jagat Sukh Paiya : Keep your household happy,
