I am an attorney currently employed by GE Consumer & Industrial in the role of Counsel, Commercial Law. I am admitted to practice law in several US jurisdictions. I specialize in commercial law, contracts, customs law, international trade, import compliance, and export controls; and am a licensed United States Customs Broker.
Before joining GE, I was Corporate Counsel to Gates Corporation / Tomkins plc where I provided legal counsel to all of the Tomkins companies as part of the Tomkins Law Department. (www.tomkins.co.uk) In that capacity I specialized in import-export compliance, international trade, customs law, commercial contracts and government affairs.
Prior to Tomkins, I was an Import Policy Analyst with the US Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration, Import Administration (http://trade.gov/ia/index.asp)
I have a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver College of Law where I earned a concentration in International Law and a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Boston University School of Management.
I enjoy reading, riding my Harley Davidson Road King Custom, doing anything outdoors, and spending time with family.
