Businessman Joe A. Corazzi has made a name for himself in both the music and communications industries. Mr. Corazzi was one of the founders in the creation of Country Music Television, the network that was the first of its kind to showcase country music and its creators. At the time, when Country Music Television was known as CMTV, Corazzi and his cohorts had only a clear idea of what the grassroots network could become and what it would do for the country music industry, artists and fans. Back then, Joseph Corazzi was the president of satellite distribution company Telestar Corp., and was searching for a way to promote Country Music on cable television. Due to the efforts of Corazzi and his business partners, CMT officially launched at 6:19 p.m. CST on March 5, 1983. About ten years after the CMT made its on-air debut, Mr. Corazzi began working as the chairman at Capital Group Inc., an investment company in Beverly Hills. At Capital Group Inc., Mr. Corazzi handles international project financing and is a Telecom specialist. Throughout his career, Joseph Corazzi has been responsible for pioneering today's multi-channel cable television services and multi-satellite delivery of voice, entertainment and data telecommunications. Corazzi is also credited with the use of international satellites for hotel and motel telecommunications. Joseph Corazzi currently operates the international services in Beverly Hills, California.
