  A little about me... I am the mother of a daughter, a step-daughter, a step-son and grandmother of 6 grandsons and 1 spoiled granddaughter age 3 and the youngest. We thought we would never get a girl. I retired from the Federal Department of Veterans Affairs, where I last worked as an Administrative Officer at the VA Outpatient Clinic in Peoria, IL. I also worked in the VA medical centers at Danville, IL and Cleveland, OH. I am truly enjoying my retirement, it has allowed me the privilege of taking care of my 2 youngest grandchildren from the time they were born until they started school. Developing that relationship was wonderful. I sewed a lot for my children when they were young, but for my granddaughter I found a passion of making bows. It is so much fun matching her outfits. However, she is becoming very picky and opinionated about what she wears. Now that they are both in school, Marnie in pre-school and Kolton in 3rd grade. I enjoy doing other things like spending more time with my friends, traveling, going to rummage sales (my favorite), being more active in my church, playing euchre/card games with family and friends, volunteering with reading and math at school (they certainly don't do math the way I learned, I think 3rd grade may be the end of my math career :-)), sharing my Neways business, working with the Healing Arts Network in Bloomington/Normal, and with the McLean County Wellness Foundation, a non-profit organization who educates employees in businesses around the Bloomington/Normal area about alternative health choices.
