Happy to be a Ryzer... I'm a marketing and PR guy working out of beautiful Sausalito, California. I've been knee-deep in 'net related initiatives since, um, like 1995, and have realized that a small step back from the bleeding edge has helped me (re)connect with the stuff that makes me happy; namely music, art, and photography. But it's not all fun and games... Mylermedia (http://www.mylermedia.com), is on "hiatus" as the bulk of my time, energy and resources are presently dedicated to a phenomenon in the making called Meetup. The Meetup boilerplate: Meetup, Inc. creates global Meetup Days for most any topic. Meetups are real world, face-to-face get-togethers that take place in 591 cities in 44 countries at local cafés, restaurants, bookstores, and other local establishments. Meetup's mission is to create local group gatherings and help stimulate local community. Since launching in June 2003, Meetup has become a grassroots phenomenon, with over 700,000 people signed up for monthly Meetups on more than 2,100 topics and interests.
