Following growing up in Montreal, Canada and graduating from Sir George Williams University with a Bachelor of Commerce, which led to some pointless employment within the corporate world for 3 years, living took a turn to exploring life's possiblities. This led to travel, theatre, natural foods cooking and baking, Osho ashram, meditation, African music as a student, record producer and promoter, massage therapist, nursing assistant, some administrative positions and a long time association with Malian musician/author Yaya Diallo assisting him in his work of preserving traditional West African culture as founder of FARAFINA DONIA - A Survival School for Traditional African Culture in Mali.

Yaya Diallo's Traditional & Upbeat West African Kanza Music
I felt so strongly that what Yaya had to share with the world was of such importance that I produced his debut album "Nangape" in 1980. "Live at Club Soda," recorded in 1989 and released on CD in 2003 followed because I loved the saxophone part and felt it really ought to be on record as it gives such a different perspective to traditional African healing music.
