My name is Catherine Beers and I currently reside in Apple Valley, California. As you can see from my profile I love the out of doors and exercise my creative outlet in the form of singing with the gang at the local jam sessions. As much as I enjoy singing and dancing I always take time to pursue my love of reading. I have several favorite authors and books and would love to share in a discussion of them with you. I am also the Southern California Regional Director for the Twilight Wish Foundation. The TWF foundation is similar to the Make a Wish Program for children. Currently I am in the organizational stages but am able to accept wish requests and donations. Having never been involved with non-profit organizations before this it will be a new learning experience for me and I'm looking forward to all that this entails. I went to Sacramento in September to assist a delightful lady named Muffin to hit a baseball. We recently had a great write up in People Magazine in July 2007. A gentleman wanted to take under privileged children fishing. My next wish I'm working on is for a husband and wife in Granada Hills, CA. They spent their entire lives and all their resources in raising their 3 daughters. They have never been on a vacation. One of their daughters submitted a wish request for them to go a on a 4-7 day cruise to either the Bahamas or Mexico. I need help getting them there. If you work with a cruise line, I would love to talk to you about making this happen as a donation in-kind! We are desperately in need of funding to help make this happen.
