 Where do I begin…(sung to the tune of Andy Williams' Love Story). Well right here right now I suppose would be a good place and time! This line I came across somewhere describes me best: I polish and shine until I can see atleast an outline, Every layer of mine hides a new design! The really interesting stuff about me follows - I love reading. I have to admit to a weakness for the so called trashy novels (gawd I hate the term)! Am addicted to them since as far back as I can remember! Under the blanket with a torch, in the loo, between boring text book pages, long train journeys…anywhere! And hey I plan to write one some day…so sue me! I am a people person thru and thru! If India had its own Agony Aunt I would fit the bill to the T! Ask my friends… they’ll vouch for my sturdy shoulders and sound advice! Funnily my advice is always good when for others…for myself…life is a muddle! Now for the boring stuff… sorry but this has to be done… don’t ever say I didn’t warn u! Well I am a not so tall and not so slim person. My saving grace is my smile…The smiley was probably created after they saw my grin! I love playing with words (as if u guys hadn’t figured that out already). It’s a Gemini trait, can’t help it! Am a curious cat…love asking questions and getting right down to the nitty-gritty! Not for the purpose of gathering ammunition for gossip, I swear, just another Gemini trait (ask Linda Goodman if u don’t believe me!) Here are some pearls of wisdom from a 'Gem' like me!(all learnt the hard way trust me!!) Its ok to be naive and trusting ...to a certain extent. Beyond that, its a fatal error to judge everyone by the standards you keep. Rarely does anyone live up to it. Love...till it hurts. There is a pleasure in that too. Give...never expect. Chances are you won't get as much from that person but someone else might give you the world. No one is indispensable. Someone leaving your life may wound you, but the wound heals, leaving behind a faint scar. Friends are the family we choose. Treasure them, love them and give them your all...Be careful whom you include in this select group...cause these are the people who have the power to hurt you. You know you have found your soulmate when the lyrics of all your favourite love songs hold true for him/her. Smile...it has immense power. It comes across thru the phone, it can lighten the gloom. It makes the simplest person look beautiful. Smile..even through your tears...you never know who will fall in love with that smile! I make chocolates as a hobby. Corporate and Personal orders, Diwali and Xmas Hampers etc are very welcome. Minimum order is a quarter kilo. My USP is the packaging.  My Chocolates - Upclose and Irresistible! |
