Know Me I began as a nervous sub editor with the Indian Express about two and a half decades back, and then moved on as a reporter with various publications including Mid day, Evening News and FPJ. I don’t know why or what did it but after over a decade, I switched careers to PR worked for corporates and consultancies, till at the end of more than another decade, the saturation reached over my head and I was mortally afraid I would drown. “Bye’” I said to the media industry, “I need a holiday –a sabbatical in technical terms. After a couple of years I can always return. During this sabbatical I started a small NGO called Helping Hand in Service which focuses on the education of slum children. Boy, do I need everybody’s help as I am just biting the bullet. My kids, 200 of them should not suffer. They love me and I cannot let them down. Please be generous and support me in keeping the show running. ASAP! Now I need to survive so I take on freelance teaching and training programmes. Writing still remains my first love. I have penned down several short stories and hope to have them published soon. I have also been working on a couple of scripts. Hope to do more on both these fronts.
