Seeking higher education, Stan Bent attended the University of California, Berkeley, for his B.A. in Interdepartmental Studies. Stan Bent then earned his J.D. from the Western State University College of Law in Fullerton, California. As a law student, Stan Bent became part of Who’s Who in American Universities and was awarded the James Brower Achievement Award. Stan Bent’s commitment to excellence translates to his current profession as an attorney. Stan Bent began his legal career as an Associate Attorney with a small law firm in Costa Mesa, California. Mr. Bent engaged in personal injury and medical malpractice matters, performed business litigation, and participated in land subsidence cases. Thereafter, he helped established the Law Office of Parks & Bent. As Managing Attorney and Co-Owner of the firm, Stan Bent oversaw Chapters 7 and 13 filings and prepared debtor petitions and relief from stay motions. Today, Stan Bent is the Managing Attorney and sole Owner of H. S. Bent & Associates where he helps clients with all aspects of business law, including entity formation, contract negotiation, review and drafting. Mr. Bent also provides debt counseling services, utilizing his experience in Chapter 7 filings and associated litigation. Stan Bent currently resides in Newport Beach, California where he supports the American Society for the Protection and Care of Animals (ASPCA), Community Conservancy International, and the Surfrider Foundation.
