Hey y'all ~~~ So glad you could stop by
for a visit! While you are here, I invite you to sign my
guestbook if you have a chance. I love to make new
friends!

Just a little about me ~
Until recently, I was the owner of a WAHM site called Time In The Country. I returned to college in January and tried for a few months to balance school, website, mom duties, etc. However, I realized that it was just too much to put on myself at one time. So I have given up the site, which means that I don't have as much contact with my WAH friends.
I recently went back to work in the real world. I am now a reporter for my local newspaper, which is the area that I have always wanted to enter. I guess it just took me awhile to get there. I love what I do and work with some really great people. I have followed the long and winding road that the Lord has led me on, and I'm exactly where I am supposed to be. I can feel that in my heart. I am still in school as well, though having to take it a bit slower now that I have two (more than) full-time jobs.
I will miss all of the great friends that I have met on my WAHM journey and I would feel blessed if any of you would like to keep in touch. I will still be around from time to time, but I must go where I am being led, because I feel strongly that God has a plan for me to put my education to good use. Blessings to you all in everything that you do. So many of you have been an inspiration to me and I love you dearly for it!
Just a little about my family ~
My son, Cody, is 8 years old and is in the 3rd grade. He is an
honor student at his school and is involved in Shinsei Hapkido
(a type of martial arts), which is a part of Karate for Christ. He also started his first year of football this year, and will be going for basketball next year, along with football. Maybe one of these days all of these sports will allow him to take care of Mom for awhile!
My daughter, Alyssa, turned 2 years old in July. She is full of
energy and into everything. She has a way of keeping me very
busy. We have given her the nickname LuLu (and I have no idea how!), but she will answer to that before she will her own name! She is my little "wild child".
We are a very musical family. I play the bass guitar (guess you could tell that from my photo above!) My
husband is a drummer, my son is learning to play guitar, and for
now, my Baby Girl is our "dancer"! As vocal as she tends to be,
maybe one day she will be our lead singer. We all play with our Praise and Worship Band at our church. We also have a band that we have been playing with for almost a year now. We've played several local events, but we're still waiting on our break into the big time!
Well, now that you know a little about me, tell me something about you! Don't forget to sign my guestbook before you leave!!!
Again, thanks for taking the time to stop by!
