Nowadays, everyone seems to be going green: major corporations, car companies, and even individuals. With hybrid vehicles becoming commonplace on roadways, there’s an obvious move toward low-cost, renewable energy resources, and Sunx Energy is leading the way. Sunx Energy, a Canadian alternative energy company, produces and distributes clean-burning, environmentally friendly biodiesel fuel. With global warming and increasing fuel and energy costs, Sunx Energy is capitalizing on the newfound interest in renewable energy. To meet the demand for green energy sources, Sunx Energy is in the process of constructing about 330 small-scale Sunx Biodiesel Processing Plants. Biodiesel, which is made from biological materials (namely vegetable oils) can be used in vehicles with an unmodified diesel engine. Biodiesel fuel can even extend the life of a diesel engine. Biodiesel manufactured at Sunx Energy is made to be utilized in compression-ignition engines that operate on diesel fuel. Sunx biodiesel can be used in diesel-powered mining equipment, electrical generators, cars, boats, trucks, tractors, shipping equipment, and irrigation systems. Biodiesel emissions are virtually free of sulfur dioxide and can contain up to 80 percent less carbon dioxide. Sunx biodiesel, which is made of 11 percent oxygen by weight, has a flash point of about 125 degrees Celsius, compared to its counterpart, petroleum diesel, which has a flash point of about 55 degrees Celsius. Sunx Biodiesel is not only safe to handle and transport, but is as biodegradable as sugar and has fewer toxins than salt. Sunx Energy gives back to the community by sponsoring youth development sports programs.
