UPDATE JANUARY 2005

ALAS - - I have to admit my eBay Storefront and my www.i-feel-pretty.com web pages are in sad shape :-( right now, as I have done nothing since the sudden illness & death of my mother and move all coming at one time in July/August. So keep hope alive and I will finally get that back in order. I *had* a great gallery of my work up there - but alas it's gone now!

Fear not, firstly, beacuse it WILL get better :-). We FINALLY sold our house in Las Vegas, NV (so much for that scalding HOT real estate market) and while we are still renting here in Santa Fe, our new home will be finished by early March. And 'March' is appropriate as that's what we'll be doing - marching all our 'stuff' in storage over to the new house and finally - after seven months - UNPACKNG. I guess I can no longer say "It's in a box...somewhere!"

But all in all we are very blessed to be in such a wonderful place as Santa Fe, to have encountered some really amazing folks, my husband getting into a great high-tech job within the elite field of smarty-pants in this area. And our new house...wow that will be awesome. And hopefully the last move for a long, long while! :=)

As for "I Feel Pretty" it's going BETTER than EVER! But that's happening more offline than online. I began selling at a arts festival in October and have done three more shows since then - with great success & feedback. We are so thrilled.

Next up - HOPEFULLY the Tucson Gem Show in Early February. Then to decide on whether to go the arts festival route again this spring and summer into fall, and well maybe to supplement with some private showings, parties and trunk shows. Somewhere in all that I plan to get the online thing super-spiffed up and very workable.

UPDATE AUGUST 2004

So I have finally got my new creative AND business endeavor off the ground and that is 'I Feel Pretty' Custom Designed Artisan Jewelry & Home Accessories!!

I am a H-U-G-E fan of Lampwork and I am now an avid collector of some of these amazing hand-fired, glass beads - also now known as 'ART GLASS.' Each piece is a one-of-a-kind collectible and I follow the beads and sets through my designs with their origination, creator and other valuable info to help you collect and treasure you Art Glass as well.

As you can imagine it has been sucking up SO MUCH of my time - but crazy girl that I am - - we have FINALLY moved a couple states away - to Santa Fe N.M. We are loving it and would really enjoy meeting others in the area or who have anything interesting to share...so if you have any info or advice...why please email me.

My husband is in high-tech [Senior Software Eng/Systems Admin - blah, blah, blah] now working for Los Alamos National Labs/Sandia Labs. I am really excited about him now working somewhere really amazing and using his large brain. And he is able to explore his passion for alternative energy - especially Solar Power.

BTW via networking - bulleting boards at Wild Oates, talking to everyone I see, finding all the great bookstores and coffee shops and just connecting here in Santa Fe, has had an AMAZING impact on my experience her - ESPECIALLY as far as my design business is concerned. I have never been more inspired nor had more opportunities to sell both locally and globally. So remember to WORK IT baby!!



So that's what I've been up to - haven't been visitng here too much lately - will try to remedy that.
