As the leader of this network...I'll field these questions.
1. Anyone can come to a posted hike.
2. I don't post hikes that require a fee. However, sometimes I 'll have a bbq with a hike and I will pass a hat to recoup the costs of renting the facilities (if a charge is involved). I will not allow the posting of a hike where the organizers charge money "just to hike".
3. The hikes that I post will always be in the Bay Area. I know of one other hiking network on Ryze...it is in LA.
On that note...people are welcome to share their hiking adventures/stories and post local hiking events.
