re: long hikes in bayarea before doing halfdome |

i found the hardest/boring-est part of the halfdome hike to be all the stairs. . . lots and lots of stairs and switchbacks. i usually bring a water filter so i don't have to lug a bunch of water. pack a nice lunch for the top and be sure to have a flashlight in case it gets dark on the way down. it's a great hike and enjoy the views!

Tam. But it was moderate. Can anyone suggest anyother longer hike say 9-10 miles with some elavation in the bay area? >I would really appreciate any help.
