Event Details:

Hello all Walkers and Hikers,

How many of you have visited Golden Gate Park lately? I mean really visited - not just walking the streets and visiting a few landmarks.....

On this walk, we will cover the park in detail walking to many of the parks better and lesser known monuments, statues, lakes, gardens, paddocks, fields, dirt trails, etc. If you have been itching to get to know the park (after all these years of living in the Bay Area) - this may be the walk you want to take.

We will meet in front of the conservatory. (MEETING PLACE: On sidewalk next to JFK drive)

The Conservatory is located at Circle # 34 on the GG Park Map (near fell/stanyan). See link below for map of park.

This hike will last about 4 hours and will go at a moderately quick pace. We rate this as an advanced hike because of the pace and the distance covered.

**Note if you have been training with Walk California for the Nike Half Marathon, you should be fine.

Bring water and snacks as you may get hungry.

See you there,
Scott
