Dear Alok,

Yes, I am Bengalee but born and brought up in Malaysia , hence by race I am a Bengalee but by Nationality I am Malaysian. My parents, originally, are from the Indian Subcontinent. "Ghosh" is my marital surname , my maiden surname is "Choudhury".

By the way there is no race called the "Malaysian Race" , Malaysia is actually made up of 3 major races ie the native Malays, the Chinese and people of Indian Origin viz; Bengalees, Tamils, Malayalees, Gujaratis, Punjabis, Oriyas, Telegus and a whole lot of other people from the Indian Subcontinent. Thanks for asking for the clarification.
