Sherry,
It is now down to two available spaces on that to-do-list board from three. At the close of October 1st, whatever the total number of ad spaces, that is what we will go forward with for those boards. I would much prefer all 12 slots be filled.
A local Hidden Valley Lake, CA convenience store that is about to become a Wi-Fi hot spot has decided to join the throng of Ryzers participating. I have no doubt that these folks will become Ryzers once they get their wireless Internet access up-and-running. On Thursday they are actually to get their AT&T/Yahoo DSL model delivered to them. Cable was their first choice. There is actually a cable box right outside the convenience store on a telephone pole. But, neither one of the cable companies they contacted bothered to follow-up with them. However, it was a very different story with AT&T/Yahoo. The AT&T router was shipped out with the initial phone call.
Two cable companies lost out on a good customer. All they had to do was diligently return a phone call. But,they didn't and AT&T/Yahoo did. I have heard that in some parts of the country, DSL is faster than cable. I wonder if that is true where I live?
