MN,
If I may be so bold as to point out something; talking predates writing. If you feel so strongly about something that you take the time and make the effort to write about it, think how much easier it is to talk about it!
As a marketing guru once remarked, "Marketing is nothing but what you've been doing since first grade; walk, talk, show and tell" :-)
Talking about your work is far from haughtiness; it's the humility of acknowledging that your work is greater than you are.
I'm off to check your page now.. (see? it works!)

Writers must promote both their work and themselves with salesmanship and confidence. So here I am loving my craft and despising what I must do to obtain readers... > >So with my nose held tightly, I invite you to check out my page and obtain your copy of Reduced to Lowest Terms: Commentary on a Numerically Obsessed Society.
