Hey there, Just because you're humble, does not mean that the selling of your product is the opposite.
Every one of us sells everyday. When was the last time you went out to dinner and your dining partner wanted Chinese and you wanted Italian? I know if I wanted Italian I would say everything I had to so I could have ravioli instead of chop suey.
Here's another one. My husband loves horror movies, and me I'm into sci fi and adventure. So when the last Harry Potter came out, I did everything in my power to get him to go with me, including, over and above the popcorn, all the snacks he wanted and I wouldn't say a word.
So we all sell all the time. It's not haughty or arrogant to believe that your intellectual product has worth and others should recognize that fact. If you didn't really believe that, you would never publish your work.
Great success to you, Michele http://motherofallmarketing.com
