if my PC had a virus, and i had your email address in my outlook express, then the virus could send out emails to people in my address book, spoofing your email address.


this is happening a lot in the past month.. and is not necessary that you remail address is bing used for spamming. besides, you shoul dask your web host to allow using the smtp server only after authentication... this will reduce the load on your mail server due to unauthorized use.
