Q2. With what you need to do although it doesn't seem like many products to justify it, you might want to try a shopping cart application.. there are open source ones such as osCommerce which are really easy to work with, free to use, and have everything you need inside the application and will work with paypal. I work with osCommerce myself so I can tell you more about that one but there are others as well.

Q1. Yes I believe that it can be done and yes I believe that would be the only reason. If you need an alternative to paypal i would suggest checking out: 2checkout.com or paysystems.com both of which are relatively low service cost.

I have searched through the archives on here to find my answers (which by the way is a great way for any novices to learn a great deal before posting questions). Found some answers, but a few remain.

I imagine a shopping cart script would be the answer but I do not know if I have to use one supplied by the hosting company (which it appears they do not provide one). Who on this list uses a stand-alone third party shopping cart that will do that? Client is on a budget so price is an issue. Or do you know of another script that I can use to calculate shipping and tax?
