Two friends of mine Meera & Subbu have started a new company called Oorvani Media, a technology-driven media firm based in Bengaluru.
This is a job requirement from them.

To help us take Citizen Matters into fast growth mode, we are seeking enthusiastic, committed team members with rapid learning curve to fill the following positions.
1) Full-time software developer to work on Ruby on Rails, JS, Ajax, and mySQL on Linux, who
* Has experience in web application development cycle (preferably Web 2.0) and in an open-source website development framework
* Enjoys coding & has strong programming fundamentals
* Likes to work in startups and wants to grow with the company
* Values creative freedom
2) One full-time journalist, one part-time reporter and a few freelance writers, who
* Are curious and articulate
* Have interest in community affairs
* Have the talent for writing investigative and analytical stories, in simple and lucid language
