Job Opening - Middle East, with a company into transportation/water Treatment.
Designation: Safety Officer
Job Description:
1. Checks on the performance and presence of safety officer on site.
2. Gathers information about safety through visits to projects.
3. Checks that the site safety officer controls workers and make sure that they carry out and enforce the conditions set by the health & safety authorities.
4. Monitors the contractors’ and the workers’ awareness of safety matters.
5. Checks that workers have been informed about identified hazardous locations & the risk associated with it.
6. Monitors that there is a special record for periodic checkups for workers and tracking of results.
7. Verifies that the inspection of machinery and equipment used on the site is in accordance to the regulations.
8. Checks that the accidents have been reported and registered with the safety officer on site and measures have been implemented to prevent the re occurrence of the same.
9. Ascertains the existence of work permits in dangerous places or use of hazardous equipment.
10. Verifies that the site safety officer is in possession of required documents (safety plan, the emergency plan, the names and numbers of safety officials, evacuation plan) and reviewing and enforcing changes that are needed.
11. Analyzes the information collected by the site safety officer and identifies weaknesses works on improvements measures relating to health and safety.
Job Requirement:
A Bachelor’s degree in engineering with specialization in relevant discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Visa + Ticket shall be provided, no accommodation
