Insignificant statements by significant others |
Roger Johnsrud
 | |
How many times do we say insignificant things to other people that look up to us as a roll model or significant other?
More damage can be done to the emotional well being of the individual than could ever be imagined.
Suppose you have a child with a different complexion and you jokingly tell a friend that “you do not know where they came from”. If the child hears this remark, they could believe they are not part of the family. Imagine the lifelong damage and trouble this can bring.
I spent many years studying hypnosis and I know a person perceived to be in power can have an immediate and long-lasting effect.
Remember your power and put it to GOOD use. Especially pay attention to the fragile and precious minds of the children around you. Also remember as a boss, supervisor or significant other your employees can be just as fragile.
