Show me the money
if i end upo buying individual memories for all the photos i click i will go broke and will have to start living hungry on the street ... yes obviously i hava memory card 32 mb and 64 mb .. and whenever i am done with a particular trip or occasion i dload the same on to my comp and then my memory cards are free .... and ready for clicking again ... i have enough hdd space so i dont burn them i put them up on yahoo photos to share with respective freinds and family .. > Nancy Monnell wrote: > I don't have a memory card yet, so as soon as I can I download the pics to my computer. That way I can also do any configuring necessary (i.e. resize, format changes, enhancements) as well as save the original pic. I burn the originals to a CD and then once I've finished playing with any of them, I then burn them to the CD. I then immediately delete them from the camera, freeing up space for new photos to be shot! I have separate CDs for each "topic" - one disc for my daughter and her friends; another for my family; another for nature shots; another for people shots; and so on. I will probably keep the same routine when I do get a memory card or two.
I also do the same type of things with photos developed from a regular camera - I scan them into my computer and follow the same steps as I do with the digital. Yes, it is a bit more work, but now I have completely catalogued sets of pics for any purpose.
