Here's yet another company experimenting with electric propulsion. Unlike Tesla Motors, the Tzero is not for sale, but strictly experimental. I am glad to see so many new companies doing this! You don't learn anything without experimenting.

As for pollution at the power plant, there are also alternatives to coal and oil fired plants, such as hydroelectric, solar, wind, etc. If fusion power is ever perfected, it would a clean source of unlimited energy.

As for the present, even the fossil fuel power plants of today are cleaner burning than those of a generation ago.
