Hello Flunky GirdleTushie, pleased to meet you also.
Very fun exercise and I agree with you - we need to laugh more! At one of my NSA (National Speakers Association) events, we had a gentleman whose business is helping people laugh more. Yep. This guy gets paid to bring people to a "Laughing Camp" to exercise their laugh muscles! He was our after lunch speaker and I couldn't have thought of a better person to wake us up after a meal.
For fifteen minutes, we clapped our hands, walked around and looked at one another while laughing. Pretty soon the laughing turned to real laughing! But something interesting happened. Our heart rates went up as we did what I would consider, very little movement. By the end of those fifteen minutes, we were all much more alert. I was actually more alert than I was in the morning tanked up on caffeine!
