Hi Ken...
This synopsis may address your question?
Numbered yet not in any particular order..
1. Integrity is the most important thing. And either you have it, or you don't. Some things are right, and they always are right. Some things are wrong, and they always are wrong. And you should be able to recognize the difference.
*** Never sacrifice integrity for expediency. *** 2. There are no guarantees for anything in life. 3. There is no "holy grail" for anything in life. 4. There never is only one right way to do anything. 5. There are methods that work, and there are methods that do not work. And there always are different ways to tackle the methods that work. 6. It is up to you to figure out the methods that suit you, your style, and your personality. 7. It is up to you to approach and work your business in the way that suits you and that works best for you. 8. We all have different styles and personalities. The "one size fits all" and the "there is only one way to do this" mentality in the network marketing industry just doesn't cut it given the realities of life and the differences between all human beings. 9. So forget the conventional wisdom. It nearly always is wrong - in all endeavors. 10. And forget blind conformity. That doesn't work, either. Be yourself; be self-reliant. Think for yourself. 11. Nearly all "gurus" (in all fields) don't have a clue about how the real world works today. (If they ever did.) Most of the "experts" in network marketing either never have built a downline or did it so long ago that their "advice" is woefully outdated. 12. Stick with people who actually have built downlines before. (And recently.) Or who actually have invested their own money into something. Or who actually have built a business. Or who actually have traded stocks, options, currencies, etc. (They know how things really work.) 13. Stick with people who actually are in the trenches doing real work. Forget the "gurus" who simply are writing books based on theoretical possibilities, "ivory tower" studies, and their self-proclaimed "expertise". 14. Remember, you have to learn to do things for yourself. Don't think that others really are going to drop everything to "help" you to succeed and to "ensure" that you succeed. They have to run their own lives and businesses, you know. You need to run yours to be successful. (And don't think that a truly successful investor / trader is going to give you his secrets "out of the goodness of his heart" for a couple of hundred dollars.) 15. So go with the people who first will give you the tools and methods that work and then will teach you the basics of how to use them properly. After that, the rest is up to you. And once you learn how to do something properly, no one ever can take that away from you. 16. Sponsor and upline support does not mean, "My upline will do my work for me and I'll get rich." Far too many people think that. Far too many uplines and sponsors enroll people by misleading them about that. 17. True upline and sponsor support means, "They will give me the tools and methods that work, and they will teach me how to use the tools and methods that work. After that, it is up to me to use them properly. And from time-to-time, they will give me a refresher course. But they never will do my work for me." 18. You have to do your own work. If you do not know something, then, learn about it. Research it. No one is going to "spoon feed" knowledge to you. No one is going to give you "something for nothing". And don't expect it. 19. Having desire is wonderful. However, it means absolutely nothing if you do not have determination and guts. It means absolutely nothing unless you also take action every single day. 20. So get off the dime and do something if you want to make it either in this business or in any other field. Don't wait for someone else to tell you what to do. Don't wait for someone else to do it for you. (Guess what? They won't.) No one else will pay your bills. No one else will give you any money. If you want someone to take care of you, go back home to your parents. HAPPY NEW YEAR KEN
May 2006 Be Your Best Year Ever !!
Sincerely,
