Hi Gang,
So you are telling me that it could take days or weeks for you to ask me to look at your business or your product?
You are telling me that if I was on your prospect list and you called me or ran into me where ever you would just say Hi, touch base, give me a card and wait to see if I asked any questions? I think you all mis-understood what I was asking.

Closing as I understand it is not a negative term. it is the end goal! Yes - there are different, more positive or less direct ways of saying it but when you engage in a conversation with somebody you should be asking questions. You want to find out if there is a need and then fill the need by presenting your solution and then ask...would you be interested, Would you like to work out a plan for this, would you like to get started?...etc, etc.

Don't get me wrong..there are general friendly conversations that do lead to business later, No doubt about it! Now if you are truelly in business for yourself and you are going to make it a point to talk to a pre-determend number of people each day with the end goal of getting them to try or look at your product or business...then you need to be ready to ask for that business!

You see...I feel there are way to many companies out there doing what you are saying you do and not following a good system for selling there business. The methods you mentioned here are fine but you have to be ready to lead people through a process,NOT TWIST THERE ARM, but lead them through your plan...It's your business and your money!

I understand some folks don't like the word "SELL" but you can't soft sell all the time and that's a problem in the MLM industry. A lot of people come into MLM thinking they are not really selling anything. They think they are just passing on an idea or giving good information...wrong answer! You are selling. You are selling your business idea or you are selling your product which the FTC says you have to do...period! To get that done then you have to ask for the business and that is called..Closing the deal.

Looking forward to further discussion!
Thanks for your input, I truelly appreciate it!

Live large,
Jeff Beeman
