Great Post Linda,

There are lot of good companies and opportunities, however the #1 critical factor for success is the leadership team you associate with and the training and support you receive. I've learned more about this business (and how to do it right) in the past year than in the previous 3 years combined. There's no substitute for having a great sposnsor and mentor. Choose your leadership team wisely.

I have been in and out of network marketing but for the last 3 years, I have done pretty well for myself. I actually had a nervous breakdown because I signed up with the supposed number one dist.mho by the way sold me my product, did not give me any info and had me sign an application at a trade fair. I never heard from him. I had passion for the products but it was 3 years of pure heck. After losing money on bogus lead programs, buying useless collateral, placing dumb ads and having a break down, I am going off of my medicine, I am recooping the money I lost, and on and on. I needed TRAINING and SUPPORT. This is a fun business. There is such high attriton in network marketing because most sponsors get the money and run. I spent 3 hrs on the phone tonight with people on other reps teams. I know I will be blessed. Listen to Warren, people need a sponsor not a con.

>>Whoever told you that doesn't know much about network marketing. A good upline is one of the best resources you can have; for help, training, support, presentations, to stop you 'reinventing the wheel', to place people in your downline (if your plan allows it) etc. Having said that, if your upline is less than perfect it then becomes your job to be the 'instant leader'.
>>The sooner your upline becomes redundant in your business the better. Similarly for you - your job is to make yourself redundant.
