Chris Janssen | | There are some right ways and wrong ways to use Ryze (and other social networks) to help expand your circle of exposure. I'll start off with some of my personal tips here and welcome input from others.
1. Post a personal photo as your profile picture. People are much more likely to visit your profile if they connect a face with the name.
2. Include facts about you personally including your family and not just your business. People do business with people.
3. Make as many "friends" as possible. Every friend you make expands your circle. You need that persons email to request friendship. (By the way, if you didn't notice, within the first few days of joining this network, my email address is opened up to you to make a friend request, or just drop me an email if you need help with something here or otherwise.) It will also improve the exposure of your profile page.
4. DO NOT spam networks with your blatent business advertising. It does you more harm than good.
5. Be yourself and enjoy the experience!
