Hi Susan,

Thanks for stopping by my Ryze page.  When I get up each morning, I'm still rubbing my eyes, trying to get my bearings, and dragging my feet.  Then my boys straggle down, looking for breakfast, and I see them with the sleep in their eyes and their hair looking wild and I just smile and smile.

Coffee, juice, breakfast and a shower later, I'm a pretty decent person to be around.  My life is a state of perpetual learning (which I love) and I live in amazement and awe of all the blessings I have; family, friends, and health being at the top of my list.

     Take care.

Hi I am Urvashi, a long time Ryzer. I had stopped ryzing for some years, but have started off with it again. The thought that a day might hold some different surprises for me and might be different from yesterday makes me rise and shine. Also the thought that one more day's efforts may take me closer to my dreams makes me rise and shine!

Susan, thanks for the invite to your Rise n Shine Network. Feel free to invite me on your Hawaii Vacation as well LOL. Would love to have a vacation this time of year. As an Accountant however, this is one of our busiest seasons. I look forward to sharing a SMILE with friends and network members:)

What inspires me to get up in the morning is a love of life and family. Along with my husbands shenanigans lol.

PS Enjoy your beautiful vacation in Hawaii.

Hello Everyone,

It's great to be in a group of positive people like you!

My hometown is Grand Rapids, Michigan where we experience the pros and cons of very different weather changes, sometimes in a moment's notice! I enjoy learning about people and discovering how I might be able to help them discover their potential. It's my desire to learn more about what you do.

As a seasoned entrepreneur, I have learned that a major key to success is learning how to listen, learn, and laugh. In other words, show others that you care, be willing to grow from another's perspective, and be friendly in all that you do. Most people will respond with mutual respect and maybe even show some interest in what you have to offer. ;^)

Hello everyone! It's great to read about all of the different reasons we get up in the morning. As the "pet lover" in the group I suspect you all know what inspires me to get up each morning:) I have two wonderful dogs, a Newf and a collie mix and one guest cat. Besides having no choice but to get up to feed them in the morning I really am inspired by them. They teach me lessons every day about unconditional love and acceptance. I watch them play with little to worry about and my wish for everyone is to find a little fun in their lives each day and enjoy the gifts life has to offer.

I'm looking forward to chatting with everyone!

What inspires me is not knowing how the day will turn out. So I keep putting one foot in front of the other and see what happens.

I am thankful that I have my health and an opportunity to make the world a little better place. My business is to help independently owned businesses promote themselves on the web. I believe that independent businesses are going to lead America (and the world) out of the economic meltdown we're in.

Thanks for the invite, Susan. What makes me excited to face each day is first and foremost the fact that God has given me that day in the first place. Now, I've got to be honest here, many times that wears off rather quickly and I need more motivation to remember God's gifts & promises. So, I look to my daughter and my wife as the reinforcements. I am blessed to have married a most beautiful (inside and out) woman who, for some reason, unknown by me, saw in me the man God had for her to complete her. Then God blessed us with an absolute gem of a child, our daughter. Her smile and laughter could illicit a smile from the sourest of faces.

When the family motivation has begun to wane (this rarely happens), I look to God's gifts in nature for my motivation... specifically the surf. He has blessed me with some above average wave riding skills which have allowed me to see a little bit of the world and experience some amazing waves. These are my tertiary muse.

How is that for a motivational diatribe??!! :-P

Eileen Brown
Greetings Folks.

Finally getting around to the introduction here. What I get up for each morning? There are two main
objectives in my life. To keep Russ at home (as opposed to in an institution/care home) and to work
from home where I care for him 24/7.

Business is web development and his care is everything from meals/meds to showers/dressing.
He has mental as well as physical disabilities. You can see a picture of us on my ryze page.

I've been in business for myself since 1992 and quit my day job in 1998. Russ had his brain aneurysm
in 1997 and the decision to take care of him full time came after much agonizing and reorganization of
my life. You don't stop loving someone just because they become ill or infirm.

In the real world I worked in aeronautics engineering for a sub-contractor of Boeing Co. and as the
companies liaison with the D.O.D. I also wrote the software used for quoting jobs to other companies.
This and continuing education led me to web development and teaching computer classes part time.

My Work: BEK (Brown Enterprises of KS) is the mother company to many smaller web companies.
I have employees, some here and some around the USA. I enjoy my work so much it's hard to get
away from it. I have a nice home office and whenever possible, sit down to do much of the work
myself.

My Family: I have two, married grown children and four of the cutest, most adorable grand-sugars that
God ever put on his green earth. Yeah, really (LOL). But, of course they are ALL most adorable. The
grand-sugars, that is.

That's the skinny, short 'n' silly as it may be. Will come in from time to time to see whats happenin'
at rise-n-shine!

Blessings.

Eileen :D

My name is obvious from my siggy and my age is a myth. :) Let's just say I was born before Nixon was President.

For the last ten years I've been a Virtual Assistant after spending ten years working as an Office / Administrative / Executive Assistant for various companies and organizations. I work with small business owners who have more work than they can do but nowhere to put an employee along with no equipment, no desire to do more paperwork and a strong desire to work with an experienced assistant.

When I'm not typing away, creating wonderful specimens to aid my clients, answering my phone and keeping my household running smoothly, I'm off helping with my church and managing my own business, Admin Services.

Throw in surviving Hurricane Katrina, re-establishing my business and getting a divorce one behind the other and I'm lucky to be somewhat sane. Thank you Jesus for keeping me through it all!

Thank God for school so my two teenage daughters (18 & 17) can go somewhere and leave me alone while I work! LOL! Can you tell I really do love my kids? They are my beloved ones.

After becoming an author of the e-book “What is a VA and how you can become one?” To get a preview of this book, please visit http://vatools.frugaladnetwork.com/index.php?page=book-preview.

I premiered a brand new book, 15 years in the making, entitled “That which does not kill us makes us stronger” (TWDNK) is filled with triumph and tragedy with the heroine of this saga overcoming abuse, depression, adultery, single motherhood and Hurricane Katrina as she keeps the faith with her true warrior's heart. Come see how one woman survived it all to continue to rejoice on the other side. TWDNK will make you weep, laugh, shout for joy and remember why life is so precious. For a free preview, visit http://gazelle.simmons.googlepages.com/twdnkpreview

As if all that wasn’t enough to do, I started the Newnan Networkers last year and just turned hosting of it over to another wonderful business owner. Meanwhile, I’m serving as hostess for the Atlanta Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce monthly power luncheons in the South Metro Counties. So I’m meeting a whole new group of people and continuing to grow my business.

Then I found a great way to remove the harsh and toxic chemicals from my home that is fabulous. I love telling people all about my experience with these products while working with a company that has been in business for the last 24 years and made over $889 million dollars in 2008.

In my spare time I read my Bible, exercise my body, surf the Net and sleep when I can. I've got a wonderful sense of humor, tons of humility and excessive modesty. Oh well, at least I have a sense of humor. LOL! Ok, enough about me, back to the real world! Take care and God bless.

Hi! My name is Rachel. The thing that puts a smile on my face every morning is my 2-year-old daughter. Hi Miss. Susan, and everyone.

I could give you all the sorted details about me . . . But why bore you now.

If you would please go to my profile page http://www.ryze.com/go/emfesler for the inner workings, then I wont bother all of you here.

In short. . . I am trying to master living. . .

"The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his information and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence at whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he's always doing both."

Thanks for letting me be a part of this network !!

Blessings to all,

Dave and Margaret Duncan
Hello,

I am David Duncan. As for what I enjoy the most about rising in the morning, I get to rise every morning with my wife, Margaret, before the dawn to watch nature come to life again. There is absolutely nothing more inspiring or centering than to watch nature and all its wildlife wake in the twilight of new day. As humans, we are blessed to be invited to this "early morning show" everyday, we need only wake in time to catch it.

All the Best,
David

Hello, I'm Kat. I'm new to Ryze as I am just getting started in the WAH biz. I may need some advise along the way, so it's good to see a lot of members seem willing to offer their advise. I too am an avid animal lover. Although I don't have any of my own yet, I am a big dog & cat lover, and would like to adopt a dog from a shelter soon, so I can give them the love they deserve. What makes me Rise & shine is that it feels good to be alive, & every day is a gift. I hope to get to know some members real soon.
